These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, products, and services provided by PillarStack LLC ("PillarStack", "we", "us", or "our"), including Stackora and FamilyHQ (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Who we are
PillarStack LLC is a software company based in Richmond, Virginia, United States. We provide software-as-a-service products, including Stackora for teams and FamilyHQ for households.
Use of the Services
- You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
- If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services only with involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
- You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Subscriptions, pricing, and billing
Stackora and FamilyHQ are offered as subscription-based services. Specific plans, pricing, and features are communicated at or before the time of checkout.
- By starting a subscription, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the applicable fees.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled in accordance with our policies.
- We may change prices or plans from time to time; changes will apply to new billing periods and will be communicated in advance where required.
- All services are digitally fulfilled online; no physical products are shipped.

Trials and promotions
From time to time, we may offer free trials, discounts, or other promotional offers ("Promotions"). The specific terms of any Promotion will be provided at the time it is offered.
- Promotions are subject to the terms communicated with the offer and these Terms.
- We may modify or discontinue a Promotion at any time, in accordance with applicable law.
- If there is a conflict between Promotion-specific terms and these Terms, the Promotion terms will usually control for the duration of the Promotion.
Content and data
You may submit, store, or transmit content through the Services ("Your Content"). You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited license to use Your Content only as necessary to provide and improve the Services.
- You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content complies with applicable laws.
- You must not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringes on the rights of others.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Services where not permitted by law.
Export and legal restrictions
You represent that you are not located in a country or region that is subject to comprehensive U.S. embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. government restricted parties list. You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws in connection with your use of the Services.
Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, designs, and content (excluding Your Content) are owned by or licensed to PillarStack and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use PillarStack trademarks, logos, or branding except as allowed by us in writing.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time, and you may cancel your subscription as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you materially breach these Terms, use the Services in a way that could cause harm, or as required by law. Where reasonable, we will provide notice before termination.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Services are informational and organizational tools. They are not legal, financial, tax, medical, or emergency-response services, and should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice or time-critical emergency communications.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PillarStack and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Services during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PillarStack and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
Dispute resolution and arbitration
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at pillarstack@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
You and PillarStack each waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.
Force majeure
PillarStack is not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or utility outages, labor disputes, natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, civil disturbances, or governmental actions.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, and applicable U.S. federal law.
Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms and any policies referenced in them form the entire agreement between you and PillarStack regarding the Services.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
- Consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice where reasonably possible. Your continued use of the Services after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Electronic communications
You agree that we may provide notices, disclosures, and other communications electronically, including by email, in-product notices, or postings on our website, and that such communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.
